About SIXT+ Car Subscription
SIXT+ is the subscription arm of the German rental company Sixt, offering US customers a car on a rolling monthly basis from its branch network. It lists more than 80 US locations, with subscription service highlighted in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami and Boston, although geographic restrictions apply.
The initial term is 30 days, after which the contract renews one month at a time until you return the car to your contract branch. Registration, maintenance and servicing are part of the package, and you choose a mileage allowance at sign-up that can be raised later. Insurance depends on the protection option selected, and fuel is your responsibility.
There is a one-time sign-up fee in the region of $199 to $399, and swapping cars at your own request costs $49. There is no home delivery: you collect from a Sixt branch with 24 hours' notice and can return to any Sixt location. It suits city-based drivers who want a familiar rental brand and the option of changing vehicles without a long contract.
