About Pivotal
Pivotal is a subscription service for Range Rover, Defender and Discovery models, operated by InMotion Ventures 3 Limited, part of the JLR group. Prices start at about £950 a month for a Discovery Sport or Range Rover Evoque and rise to around £2,400 for a full-size Range Rover, plus a £650 joining fee, which is sometimes waived on selected models.
The monthly fee covers fully comprehensive insurance, road tax, servicing, eligible warranty maintenance, 24/7 breakdown assistance and fair wear and tear under BVRLA standards, along with one named additional driver. The allowance is 1,500 miles per month, with excess mileage charged at 36p a mile. Delivery and collection are free across England, Scotland and Wales, and EU travel is permitted with 14 days' notice.
The minimum term is three months, after which subscribers can pause or cancel with 14 days' notice and can switch vehicles after six months, subject to availability. Drivers need to be over 25 and pass licence and affordability checks. Pivotal suits people who want a premium SUV without a long finance agreement, and also offers business and salary sacrifice options. It is FCA authorised for consumer hire agreements.
