About AMT Auto Subscription
AMT Auto is a Leeds-based vehicle rental and leasing company that also runs a monthly car and van subscription through a dedicated site. The subscription is aimed at individuals and businesses who need a vehicle for a short period without a finance agreement. The range includes Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Nissan, Peugeot, SEAT, Tesla and Volkswagen cars, plus pick-ups and vans from Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Volkswagen.
Agreements run for one to three months, and longer use needs a new agreement. Mileage is chosen from 1,000 to 3,000 miles a month in 500-mile steps. Servicing, worn tyres, road tax and 24-hour breakdown assistance are included, and insurance can either be arranged by AMT for an extra cost or provided by the driver. A deposit is taken, and sample prices at the time of checking started at around £910 a month including VAT for smaller cars on a three-month term. Returning early within the minimum period means paying the remaining instalments.
AMT does not run a formal credit check but does carry out identity and eligibility checks, including a DVLA licence check. Cars can be collected from an AMT branch, or delivered and collected anywhere on the UK mainland for an extra fee.

How long can I subscribe with AMT?
Agreements run for one to three months. You can extend, but use beyond three months requires a new agreement.
Does AMT carry out a credit check?
There is no formal credit check, but AMT runs identity and eligibility checks. You need your photocard licence, two forms of ID and a DVLA check code if you hold a UK licence.
Is insurance included?
AMT's information on this is not fully consistent, but its FAQ says you can use your own comprehensive cover or pay extra for AMT's insurance. Confirm which applies before booking.
